Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and fuel efficiency
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and trip planning apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- No preventable accidents or major violations in past 5 years
