Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload packages securely with proper lifting techniques
- Communicate delivery status via mobile app to dispatch team
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area
- Availability to work flexible night schedules (including weekends)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
