Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle fragile or high-value items with appropriate care protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Oakland/Bay Area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
