Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods on scheduled routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling of items
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate Houston traffic and roadways efficiently using GPS technology
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for digital delivery tracking systems
