Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to customers in the Fresno area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or dollies, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery van, both inside and out.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Update delivery logs and paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Clear driving record with no major infractions or DUIs in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
