Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials on scheduled routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently for traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and navigation skills with GPS proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
