Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Safely load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
