Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes within the Tampa area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Document load information accurately and maintain compliance with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean driving record and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or B).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a negative drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
