Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (or CDL school graduate)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo and outdoor weather conditions
