Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials throughout Philadelphia metro area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery records
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Follow all DOT regulations and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
