Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route maps to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle package handling with care.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and digital logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with the Greater New Orleans area and local traffic patterns.
- Strong commitment to safety and traffic laws.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Current DOT medical card (if applicable).
