Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points across Houston.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, organization, and secure placement.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in top condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital proof of delivery records.
- Interact professionally with customers during the delivery process.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Previous experience driving commercial vans or box trucks is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and safely.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
