Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and light trucks on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and timesheets in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and minor damages immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B or C) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in local delivery or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Dallas geography and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging data.
