Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining zero incident record
- Operate in all weather conditions and urban traffic environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington, D.C. metro routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts as needed
- Strong customer service and communication skills
