Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in the Dallas area in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring packages are handled with care and delivered as requested.
- Utilize handheld devices or mobile apps to manage delivery logs, update status, and navigate routes efficiently.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Handle package pickups and drop-offs, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with internet access for navigation and delivery apps.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
