Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks and box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, and delivery status.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations.
