Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) per FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and weight distribution.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the vehicle cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety standards.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Valid driver's license and proof of residency in the United States.
