Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure vehicle readiness
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance operations
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (training provided)
