Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs): Safely and efficiently operate Class A tractor-trailers to deliver freight across the United States.
- Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load & Unload Freight: Secure cargo using straps and bars, ensuring all freight arrives at the destination in the same condition it was picked up.
- Driver Logs: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records, adhering to all FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS technology and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Valid, unrestricted Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to drive across state lines.
- Willingness to Train: Candidates with no prior trucking experience must be willing to enroll in and complete our paid training program.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
