Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across California and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring securement per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation, including Hours of Service (HOS) and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
