Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on a part-time schedule.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and delivery interactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Availability to work flexible part-time hours, including nights and weekends if required.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
