Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring safety and weight distribution.
- Verify cargo contents against bills of lading and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT compliant) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
