Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on highways and local routes between Denver, CO and North Carolina.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts.
