Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) on regional and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
