Responsibilities
- Execute efficient and timely delivery routes throughout the Charlotte metropolitan area.
- Load, unload, and securely transport goods using modern box trucks and cargo vans.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact professionally with clients, confirming deliveries and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent experience with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of local Charlotte, NC geography and navigation systems.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
