Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods from distribution centers to final delivery locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Verify delivery quantities and obtain necessary signatures from customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage using handheld devices.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle remain clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher preferred).
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
