Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients across New York City.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to confirm delivery status and collect electronic signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle package handling with care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and mechanical integrity.
- Keep accurate records of delivery exceptions and report any issues to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
