Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various destinations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. You will serve as the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service from the moment the package arrives.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Box trucks or straight trucks) to transport goods to designated customer locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and organization of packages.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures from recipients where necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Update digital delivery logs and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate complex routes efficiently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
