Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and mileage via Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
