Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Report mechanical issues and maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with the job.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
