Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) over various road types and terrains.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD/DCD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
