Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Document all transportation activities accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Michigan highway systems and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
