Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper forklifts and loading equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Ensure the security of cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
