Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class-A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes across Colorado and surrounding states
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Accurately maintain electronic logs, delivery manifests, and safety documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status and potential delays
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures and verify shipment integrity
- Represent our company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with flatbed or dry van endorsements
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Strong knowledge of Colorado mountain driving conditions and winter weather protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and climb safely in/out of cab
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills for independent route decisions
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips and occasional weekends
