Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using forklifts or hand trucks as required.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
