Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly student conduct during routes
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Document route conditions and student attendance
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with P/S endorsement
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Background clearance through GA PSC
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided)
