Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Manage student behavior on the bus, enforcing safety rules and maintaining a positive environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and dispatch regarding schedules and student needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, state regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring accessibility for all.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement (Training available if you have a clean driving record).
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with children and parents.
- Patience, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
