Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules, deadlines, and DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and tie-downs.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
