Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) during overnight shifts
- Execute efficient multi-drop routes across Ohio/Midwest region
- Maintain meticulous delivery documentation and logs (ELR compliant)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure temperature-controlled cargo integrity for sensitive freight
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Overnight shift availability (7 PM - 7 AM, flexible scheduling)
- Experience with reefers and hazmat certification a plus
- Proficient with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
