Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional freight transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional freight experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials (preferred)
- Proficient in ELD systems and route optimization software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
