Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24-26ft box truck in a professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring cargo protection.
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers at pickup and delivery points.
- Handle all necessary paperwork and documentation for each load.
Qualifications
- Must own a 24-26ft box truck (Must be in good working condition).
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card and liability insurance.
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Experience with cargo securement and freight handling is preferred.
