Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining safety standards
- Utilize routing technology for efficient mileage optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional overnight trips
