Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks over long distances (Over-The-Road) to deliver cargo safely and on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while navigating diverse routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at every stop.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading processes efficiently and securely.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to travel long distances and stay out on the road for extended periods.
