Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently within the Dallas metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using standard material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT compliant) and vehicle inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with remote dispatch for real-time route updates and support.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging devices (optional but preferred).
- Willingness to undergo entry-level training programs.
