Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on weekends
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with GPS routing and real-time tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Knowledge of Austin metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
