Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in pristine condition
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when necessary
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Houston metropolitan area
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Physical ability to handle cargo and climb in/out of vehicles frequently
