Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods across Virginia and surrounding states
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and solve logistical challenges
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and lifting techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A/B) in good standing
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
