Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Document and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and holidays as needed.
