Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logs, including Hours of Service (HOS) and mileage records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
