Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries while maintaining efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional Dallas/Fort Worth area
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle freight loading/unloading
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
